Soul Retrievals with Cindy McGinley
Soul loss has always been considered a major factor of illness in shamanic cultures. They have always believed that when we experience a trauma, part of our soul leaves to avoid the full brunt of the pain -- which is a great self protection mechanism, but sometimes those parts don't find their way back on their own. Events like abuse, accident, or even divorce can cause soul loss. The shaman goes to the compassionate spirits (in a trance-like state called a shamanic journey) on the behalf of the person who is suffering soul loss and those compassionate spirits help the shaman bring the soul parts back.
