All the services and alternative modalities offered at RoseHeart should be considered complimentary to the work of regular medical practices. If you have a medical health condition or issue, please be sure to first consult your own professional health practitioners and follow their guidance. Always tell your doctor if you are using an alternative therapy or if you are thinking about combining an alternative therapy with your conventional medical treatment.

Recently a RoseHeart Book Angel gifted us with a lovely selection of gently used books for our lending library. In case you were not aware of this, we have some wonderful books about all variety of metaphysical and esoteric subjects. If you have such books that need a new home please consider donating them to the RoseHeart Lending Library. We lend our books to the folks in our community, on the honor system, for about 3 weeks. (If you have borrowed some books from RoseHeart, please return them in a timely manner so others can enjoy them, too.) So, now RoseHeart is greatly in need of a bookcase or two - gently used preferred. If you have books or a bookcase or set of shelves that you would like to donate, please contact Virginia at 315-243-1828 or gatkepr@dreamscape.com. Thank you
The RoseHeart Center Walking Club
The RoseHeart Center, inspired by Cindy McGinley’s Spirited Weight Management Group, is now planning a Walking Club - Thursdays (starting April 26th) at 5:30 and Sundays at 1PM. We will meet at the Minoa Canal Park Entrance and share some fun and conversation and companionship and support while we get some good walking exercise - not to mention the lovely spring weather.
For our first meeting we will congregate in the parking lot at RoseHeart around 5, and carpool over to the Minoa Canal Park Entrance. If you know ahead of time that you would like to join us, let Cindy (315-289-2030) or Virginia (315-243-1828) know - or you can send an email to gatkepr@dreamscape.com. You can also just show up - but it is nice to know ahead of time how many to expect. Even if you can’t commit to every time we meet, join us when you can. It’s good exercise and much more fun with a group of friends, new and old. So JOIN US!
Speaking of JOIN US -

EFT ~ Emotional Freedom Technique ~ That tapping thing
Sunday, May 6th; 2:30-4:30 $15
EFT is a form of alternative therapy that manipulates the body's natural electro-magnetic energy field by tapping on acupressure points while a specific traumatic memory is focused on, in order to release blocked energy and alleviate a physical and/or psychological problem.
Theory - The principle behind EFT is that negative emotions can cause disturbances in the body's energy field by creating an imbalance in the body’s fields, blocking energy and thus bringing about discomfort and/or pain. EFT theory derives from similar principles behind those of acupuncture and acupressure.
EFT is a meridian energy therapy - just like acupressure or acupuncture, it works directly on the meridian system in the body. But instead of needles, you stimulate the major meridian points by tapping on them or massaging them lightly.
EFT is a true mind/body healing technique because it combines the physical effects of meridian treatments with the mental effects of focussing on the pain or problem at the same time.
EFT is a self help protocol, designed for ease of use and so everyone can benefit from Emotional Freedom Techniques without prior knowledge about meridians or energy.
You can do the Emotional Freedom Technique on yourself anywhere, everywhere - all it takes is a few minutes and your own hands.
EFT can be used for releasing cravings, doubts, anxieties, panic attacks, fears, anger, resentment, even pain and discomfort.
Without any training, you really can use EFT to help yourself in moments of doubt and fear, in the middle of the night, or when you are on your own.
Virginia Waldron has the full collection of videos on DVDs with Gary Craig’s seminars and workshops, demonstrating the EFT patterns that he designed and trademarked. These videos are no longer available to the public on his website, but Virginia is willing to make copies of the 6 DVDs (full set) for an additional $20 to any of the students of this class. To find out more about EFT and its founder, Gary Craig, go to www.emofree.com.
To sign up for the class - pre-paid registration is required - contact Virginia Waldron at 315-243-1828 or gatkepr@dreamscape.com. The full fee of $15 (non-refundable) is required for registration. Send your check made out to Virginia Waldron to The RoseHeart Center, 214 Highbridge St., Fayetteville, NY 13066. Class size is limited to 12, so sign up early to make sure of your spot.

Our Spiritual Cinema Circle movie for May is going to be truly interesting. As you know (or not?) The Spiritual Cinema Circle is an organization which provides a wonderful collection of DVDs, one a month, with full length movies and shorts from around the world. The intention is to provide uplifting stories and international delights with visionary and inspirational films, always with a spiritual and uplifting message. Spiritual Cinema Circle is the home of uplifting stories from independent filmmakers that inspire love and compassion, films that connect us with the world around us.
For May we will be watching the movie “The Year Dolly Parton Was My Mom.” It's 1976 and Elizabeth is just your average suburban 11-year-old praying for adolescence to arrive when she discovers her whole life has been a lie. With only her imagination to guide her, Elizabeth runs away in search of her true identity. Her adoptive mother Marion is then forced to break out of the carefully constructed truth she s been clinging to and go after her daughter. This leads to a cathartic cross-country trek by a mother searching for a daughter who s searching for a mother both of them really searching for themselves.... The Year Dolly Parton Was My Mom is a poignant, sometimes funny, very female, coming of age story that explores the tension between creating identity and finding it within.

This is IAC's core curricular program centered on evolution, psychic awareness and the out-of-body experience as a tool for personal transformation. It offers the most comprehensive, transformative body of information that you are likely to find anywhere about life's most fundamental questions. It examines who we are, what happens when we die, and why we are here, in addition to other themes of existential significance. Students are shown how to incorporate the CDP's ideas and techniques into their daily lives, allowing them to increase their life fulfillment by living coherently with a broader, more accurate understanding of reality. The CDP integrates a wide range of themes, giving students a cohesive, verifiable framework for understanding themselves, their energetic nature, their relationships, psychic phenomena, paranormal occurrences, and even their purpose in life. See below for a detailed list of topics covered.
Practical classes
Consistent with the importance the IAC places on verification through experience, the CDP has not just theoretical information, but practical classes too. Special emphasis is given to the out-of-body experience (OBE) as a tool for personal growth, as it facilitates first-hand experience of the invisible non-physical world surrounding us. This in turn gives us a broader perspective for understanding not just paranormal phenomena, but ultimately the entire process of personal or conscious evolution. Great emphasis is also placed on developing mastery with energy. Having energetic ability increases our perceptiveness, it helps develop our psychic abilities, and it allows us to have greater emotional balance, physical health, and mental clarity.
The CDP includes:
• 5 sessions in which students aim to induce lucid out-of-body experiences (OBEs)
• 15 sessions in which students use a variety of techniques to mobilize and control their energies
