Spiritually Transformative Experience Patterns - a transpersonal and transformative workshop

There are many types and many names for experiences that can share common features and be catalysts for spiritual transformation: near-death experiences (NDEs), near-death-like experiences (NDLEs), out-of-body experiences (OBEs), visions, spiritual emergencies, awakenings, kundalini experiences, enlightenment, exceptional human experiences (EHEs), pre-birth memories, past-life experiences, nearing death awareness (NDAs), after-death communications (ADCs), empathic or shared near-death experiences, peak experiences, etc.  STEs include or may be called transcendent, transpersonal, mystical, anomalous, religious, paranormal, parapsychological or ecstatic experiences. These experiences can happen at any time, to anyone, under any circumstance.  Some experiences are sought after through meditation, yoga, drugs, religious practices, dance, drumming, sensory deprivation or prayer.  Other experiences can happen spontaneously without expectation.

The purpose of this workshop is to explore the inner experiences known as STE and the impact they have on one’s life.  If we are the architects of our life’s blue print, then we are the ones who arranged for all the experiences we encounter.  In that case, there is some level of awareness that the challenges we will face, the positive and negative ones equally, are ones we have put before us.  From the perspective of the Soul Mind, we know exactly why we created those challenges  and where we placed them on the path we follow. 

One step in integrating and accepting the challenges and difficulties we encounter is to have a solid understanding of the purpose or intention of these challenges.  We are not victims, we are master designers of our life’s Blue Print.  Therefore, even if we do not comprehend what we are about to face or endure, or why, on higher levels of consciousness, we know exactly what we are doing. 

In this workshop we are going to examine the experience itself, as well as the impact, the ripples that continue touching not only our lives but the lives around us.  We will also explore how the work of the spiritual journey changes how we see ourselves and our experience, how we can bring all the pieces of such a powerful experience into our consciousness and what that does to bring us back into wholeness. 

Spiritually Transformative Experiences are experiences that cause the subject to  perceive themselves and the world profoundly differently: by expanding the individual’s identity, augmenting their sensitivities, and thereby altering their values, priorities and appreciation of the purpose of life. This may be triggered by surviving clinical death, or by otherwise sensing an enlarged reality.

As the authors and creators of the Master Plan that guides us through each incarnation, then we are the ones who place the lessons, challenges and opportunities necessary for us to experience in order that we, as soul beings, can evolve, and our Soul Mission is able to come about.  And, if part of our mission, as Spiritual or Soul Beings having a human experience, is to remember or awaken to our own divinity, then it is important that we go through certain experiences and lessons to allow for that awakening.  We know what we need to do, on a Soul Mind level, and therefore we (with some help from our friends) choose the spiritually transformative experiences we need to encounter, experience, be challenged by and accomplish, for each given incarnation in order to progress and evolve, to awaken to our Light. 

We put them on Our Master Plan, while we are in a state of consciousness where there is no judgement, no good or bad, no black or white - just awareness.  Yet as human beings, we have allowed ourselves to forget ourselves in the hustle and bustle of daily life.  Which is why we need these STEs, important and carefully orchestrated STEs that can, at times, feel overwhelming or frightening as well as ecstatic, joyful, inspiring, or just plain confusing.  We ask - How are they part of my story, why did I put that experience where I did, how does it move me closer to my life’s mission, what are the patterns of experiencing and awakening that I laid out for myself before I was born? 

This workshop will apply transpersonal techniques to explore the patterns of our life story,  to create our Time Line.  Then we will journey to the spiritual realms to witness the Master Plan as it is being created - in that timeless place and placeless time.  Finally we will put all the pieces together to create our own personal myth, our story.
